How Concentrated Cleaners Reduce Waste

A typical 1L bottle of multi-purpose cleaner contains roughly 950ml of water. When you ship that bottle from a factory to a warehouse to a store to a home, you're moving a lot of water around the country.
Powder concentrates and dissolvable tablets ship at a fraction of the weight and volume. One tablet roughly the size of a coin can produce a full bottle of cleaner once dissolved in tap water.
Less weight means fewer trucks on the road, less fuel burned, and lower transport emissions per cleaning bottle delivered. It also means less corrugated cardboard, less stretch wrap, and less warehouse footprint.
For small businesses, the math is even better. A case of concentrate that fits in a kitchen cupboard can replace several pallets of pre-mixed product.
